Comparison Between Numerical and an Experimental Results of Pressure Drop in a Perforated Horizontal Wellbore with a 90° Perforations Phasing

This paper presented experimental and numerical studies to investigate pressure drop in perforation horizontal wellbore with a 90° phasing 20 spm density. The apparatus has been constructed calculate the static exit velocity pipe after mixing axial flow radial through perforations wellbore. specifications of used were inner diameter is 44 mm, length 2 m, 4 mm. For this objective, simulation model was created using ANSYS Fluent software by standard k-ε applied (CFD) changing from (40-160) lit/min constant inflow range (0 - 80) lit/min. According study's findings, increase increases total rate ratio vice versa. In addition, an mixed drop, friction factor, decrease productivity index. Furthermore, percentage error between results test about 3.83 %. It found that represented good agreement study flow-through at angle terms index, etc.
